Dr. April Player Jones is a native of Talladega. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Stillman College, she earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham(UAB). She and her husband, Rolley, have been married for 16 years, and they have two children, Nia and IV. Dr. Jones is an active member of the Rushing Springs Baptist Church of Lincoln, AL, where she serves alongside her husband as Deaconess and presides over the Marriage Ministry.
She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Outside of seeing patients, Dr. Jones enjoys barbering, traveling, and quality time with her family. We welcome you, Dr. April Jones, to our staff and community. Dr. Jones will see patients in our Anniston office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
